Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server instances (2016/2019/2022)Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies (indexes, queries, etc.)Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning and testingAutomate routine DBA tasks using scripts (T-SQL, PowerShell)Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, Log Shipping, Replication)Apply security best practices, including role-based access control, auditing, and encryptionTroubleshoot database-related issues and provide support to application and infrastructure teamsPerform capacity planning and recommend infrastructure upgradesMaintain documentation of all systems and proceduresParticipate in on-call support and after-hours maintenance when necessary
