  • Proficiency in basic cooking techniques, enabling preparation of a wide range of dishes as directed (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong understanding of ingredient preparation, ensuring freshness and accuracy in measurements and cuts.
  • Ability to create visually appealing dish plating and presentation, enhancing the overall dining experience.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of culinary activities.
  • Team collaboration abilities, working efficiently with peers to achieve day-to-day culinary objectives.
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments, handling the pressures and dynamics of a busy kitchen atmosphere with ease.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist senior chefs in food preparation and execution of menu items as per company standards.
  • Maintain high levels of kitchen hygiene, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
  • Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and securely storing food items.
  • Manage cooking stations, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for use.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure the timely delivery of dishes.
  • Observe and refine dish presentation to align with prescribed culinary aesthetics.
  • Participate in kitchen cleaning activities, ensuring a tidy and safe workspace for all kitchen staff.
  • Adapt quickly to kitchen demands, demonstrating versatility in various cooking techniques and scenarios.
