Position: Aeronautical design of UAV (15 to 20 yrs) Years of Experience: 15 to 20 years B.E Mechatronics/ Electronics/ Avionics Preference: Prior working in ADE, NAL, ADA, ARDC, ADE or in Aerospace OEM. Involved in full design of UAV including Avionics from conceptual to detailed design. Familiarity or experience in UAV technology is a plus Job Details: Candidate will be part of Design & engineering Function, responsible for meeting customer and internal commitments in UAV design. Should have a good Planning skills and able to understand the technical requirements of customer input documents and make detailed analysis. The skill sets required are Good understanding of UAV design tools such as Technical plans, layout blueprints, drawings and models. Strong knowledge of avionics systems, electronics and embedded systems - flight control software, navigation and guidance , software like ALTIUM, ORCAD, etc., Proficiency in relevant software and hardware tools Programing languages like C and C++, python will be added advantage. Knowledge in different avionic testing standards - ISO 21384, MIL-STD-810, ANSi AUVSI 2.0, IEC 62304, RTCA DO-178C Knowledge in embedded design and FPGA development Designed from conceptual stage or preliminary design stage. Designed and tested UAV. Undergone CEMILAC approval for materials, design validation and manufacturing. Extract and Validating Aerodynamic loads, CFD results, Aero elasticity of structures. Validating 3D Modelling & FE modelling of airframe structures as per system layout. Understand customer input documents and decode it for design requirements Proficiency in V-N diagram, load cases generation for symmetric and un-symmetric maneuver. Take-off and landing load cases. Weight & C.G management in design. Experience in validating drawings of system components/ assembly, Bought out items, integration details to structures Knowledge in 3D software like CATIA V6. Approving of GD & T, Tolerance Stack Up analysis Knowledge in MS office tools (like word/ Excel/ Presentation) Good Communication & interpersonal skills. Experience in Defence & Aerospace projects like UAV, LCA, Saras. Approval of Design documents/specification preparation, Report Preparation & testing document.
