ABC: Trade Finance : Test Engineer

• Understand requirement document (PFD/BRD/FSD/User Stories) and derive SIT & UAT test scenarios and test cases.
• Conduct review meetings with IT/Business Analyst to obtain test case sign off by incorporating review comments.
• Create traceability matrix between requirements and test cases and create run plan for test execution.
• Upload and execute test cases in Zephyr by attaching relevant evidence.
• Raise Defects in JIRA with all required details and ability to explain the issues with clarity in defect triage meeting.
• Develop KPI’s for measuring quality, requirement coverage and test coverage.
• Send Daily Status Report with all required execution & defect details.
• Provide interim Defect Ageing and SLA Breach Report.
• Ability to understand Test Automation and execute test scripts.
• Schedule demo session to explain the functionalities being tested.
• Conduct walkthrough session with relevant stakeholders to secure SIT/UAT sign off.
• Create scenario driven coverage for regression testing.

• 6+ years of experience in Trade Finance software testing, including integration, functional and regression testing.

• Must have experience in Trade Finance products with strong knowledge on documentary trade products e.g. Letter of Credit, Letters of Guarantee, Bill Discounting, export LC, Standby LC and Documentary collections
• Strong understanding on Documentary Trade products entire lifecycle events.
• Product testing experience in FTI (Fusion Trade Innovation) is a must.
• Front end Trade finance platform testing experience.
• Well versed with SWIFT standards on documentary trade message format and rules.

• Experience working with software development lifecycle tools such as Jira and Zephyr (test case management)
• Strong Communication, collaboration, problem-solving and analytics skills
• Experience in project management and QA methodologies.

• Implementation/Rollout Testing experience in Trade Domain preferably with Front End channel implementation.
