The Technical Writer works with producers (Product Management, Engineering) and consumers (Service Delivery, Release Engineering, Production) of Clario core products to create technical documentation for core product releases and assists the Sr. Technical Writer. PDEs, DDEs, Support, Release Engineering) to understand audience needsDetermine appropriate documentation and structure of documentation to maximize content reuse across different types of documents, such as:Release Notes (internal)Installation documentsConceptual and user guides, including (but not limited to): API guides, with code samplesArchitectural overviewsSystem diagramsMeet document deadlines and help to manage tactical tasks related to software projectsWhat we're looking forBachelors degree3+ years of related experienceAbility to distill complex concepts from a variety of sources into clear, usable documentationStrong writing skills (grammar, punctuation, form, content, structure, etc.) and attention to detailProject Management skillsStrong technical knowledge of programming, preferably with programming experienceAbility, patience, and persistence to elicit documentation requirements from consumersAbility and knowledge to elicit consumable information from developers, specifically considering the audience for each type of documentAbility to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, Agile environmentStrong Adobe InDesign skills. Proficiency in MS Office (esp. Word, Excel, Visio), Adobe Illustrator; Photoshop, Snagit, and SharePoint.
