  • Collaborate with all stakeholders, clearly articulate the problem statement, and employ various elicitation techniques to define clear, complete, accurate and traceable requirements within the framework of IATA standards like ONE Record and e-freight/e-AWB.
  • Anticipate future requirements and develop business cases for proposed system enhancements that will maximize the product value.
  • Create and maintain artifacts like PRD, Use case diagrams, Process flow diagrams etc that are critical for product delivery.
  • Communicate with precision, engaging team and stakeholders to build trust & reliable working relationships across cross-functional teams, geographies enabling organizational alignment.
  • Stay curious to understand customer priorities and business challenges and collaborate closely with technical colleagues to ensure alignment throughout the design, development, Go-live and Post Go-live phases.
  • Assist the product owner to groom and manage the product backlog, create and refine the user stories and prioritize the backlog.
  • Participate in testing efforts along with the QA team to validate and verify the functionality and accuracy of developed solutions. Help identify and resolve issues during testing phases.
  • Drive and coordinate the UAT with the end-users, manage defects and track them to closure.
  • Stay updated on current trends to drive innovative decisions through piloting forward-thinking approaches to complex problems in ones area of work.
  • Identify and assess the risks and collaborate with key stakeholders to define strategies to mitigate the risks.
What you need to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-6 years of professional business analyst experience in Air Cargo domain and should have worked on Airline Cargo IT systems
  • Familiarity with IATA digital cargo initiatives like ONE Record, e-freight/e-AWB etc.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON/XML standards
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, SoapUI, Jira, Confluence
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies
What will give you a competitive edge (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Prior experience in building a digital cargo booking tool
  • Good knowledge of custom procedures, cargo handling and warehouse management
  • Understanding of cloud services (AWS) and other emerging technologies like AI
  • Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools like PowerBI
  • Prior experience of working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.
