- Perform hands-on assembly of Nacelle components, following detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and CAD models to ensure precision and compliance with technical specifications.
- Utilize specialized assembly tools such as torque wrenches, hoists, and alignment jigs, adhering strictly to prescribed assembly procedures and tolerances.
- Conduct in-process inspections, using precision measurement instruments like micrometers, calipers, and digital torque gauges to verify component fit and alignment.
- Identify non-conformities during assembly, promptly reporting defects and participating in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Set up and maintain assembly tools and equipment, ensuring they are correctly calibrated and in good working order to meet assembly requirements.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of assembly tools, coordinating with maintenance teams for complex repairs or calibrations.
- Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assembly protocols, maintaining detailed records of assembly activities, including adjustments made and issues encountered.
- Complete assembly logs and quality checklists, ensuring all required documentation is accurately filled out and submitted.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safe lifting techniques, and adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Participate in safety drills and report any potential hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
- Actively participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback on assembly processes and suggesting potential efficiency enhancements.
- Assist in implementing process improvements, such as reducing assembly cycle times and optimizing workstation layouts.
- Ensure the correct materials and components are used for assembly, following kitting instructions and verifying parts against the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Coordinate with Material Coverage Control Engineers to manage the flow of components and address any material shortages promptly.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and fellow Technician to resolve assembly issues, clarify work instructions, and optimize workflow.
- Provide feedback on assembly challenges, supporting efforts to refine processes and improve overall product quality.
- Maintain high ethical standards, ensuring assembly tasks are performed honestly, accurately, and without deviation from established protocols.
- Adhere to company policies regarding ethical behavior, reporting any observed deviations or unethical practices.
- Engage in ongoing training and skill development opportunities to stay current with new assembly techniques, tools, and safety practices.
- Mentor junior Technician, providing guidance on assembly techniques, quality standards, and safe work habits.

- Technical diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in assembly line operations.
- Skilled in cable harnessing, testing nacelle , tool handling, quality checks, and safety protocols.
