Area Sales Manager (Kitchen Appliances) Responsible for driving sales and achieving targets within a specific geographical area. Developing and implementing sales strategies and building relationships with distributors and retailers. Analyze market trends, monitor competitor activity, and ensure optimal inventory levels. Key Responsibilities:- Achieve and exceed sales targets for kitchen appliances within the assigned area. - Lead, motivate, and train a sales team to achieve individual and team goals. - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market share and increase sales. - Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and retailers. - Analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and monitor competitor activity. - Ensure effective distribution coverage across the area, onboarding new distributors and dealers. - Work with supply chain managers to optimize inventory levels and stock planning. - Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports on sales performance. - Ensure excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or issues. - Stay up to date on the latest products and features, providing training to the sales team. - Execute marketing and promotional activities to boost sales and increase brand visibility. - Monitor and control spending within the assigned budget. Qualification And Experience:1. MBA with 7-10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the consumer durables or home appliance industry is preferred. 2. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential. 3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are needed. 4. Proven ability to drive sales, negotiate deals, and close business. 5. Ability to analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activity. 6. Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies. 7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
