Key Responsibilities:OpenShift Cluster Management: Deploy, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters in a production environment, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.Platform Security: Implement and enforce security measures in OpenShift environments, including user authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), network policies, and secure image management.Monitoring & Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems to track cluster performance, resource utilization, and application health. Utilize tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the OpenShift integrated logging system.Automation: Automate repetitive administrative tasks using scripts or tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Helm to improve operational efficiency.Capacity Planning & Scaling: Plan and manage resource utilization, ensuring the OpenShift clusters can scale efficiently as workload demands increase. Implement auto-scaling and resource optimization.Application Deployment: Support application deployment processes on OpenShift, ensuring smooth integration with CI/CD pipelines and managing application configurations.Backup & Disaster Recovery: Establish backup and disaster recovery strategies for OpenShift clusters, ensuring quick restoration of services in case of failure.Upgrades & Patching: Manage regular OpenShift platform upgrades, patching, and system updates to ensure the platform remains secure and up to date.
