- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive marketing, networking, and referrals
- Manage and nurture existing client relationships to drive repeat business
- Promptly respond to catering inquiries and provide detailed, customized quotes
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with culinary and operations teams to create tailored menus and maintain high-quality food and service standards
- Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including venue logistics, staffing, and equipment requirements
- Work in tandem with other departments (e.g., banquets, F&B) to ensure seamless event execution
- Conduct engaging site visits and tastings with potential and existing clients
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in the market
- Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management
- Proven experience in catering sales or the hospitality industry
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proficiency in catering management software and MS Office Suite
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, catering operations, and event planning
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing client accounts
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Team player with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional events
