- Support the execution of MCC Indias strategic people plans, ensuring employees are positioned to deliver results.
- Assist with diagnosing talent needs, understanding business strategy / functional priorities, and supporting talent strategies to enable success.
- Provide support to the People Partners overseeing the India Capability Center and assist in HR functions supporting the capability centers.
- Offer day-to-day coaching and consultation to employees and managers regarding people-related opportunities and challenges.
- Assist functional leaders with organizational decisions (e.g., staffing, development, employee relations) to ensure alignment with people strategies.
- Identify gaps between business needs and people systems/capabilities within the function and provide support for appropriate actions.
- Assist in customizing and executing talent planning activities, such as goal setting, development planning, succession planning, and the annual year-end compensation and performance review process.
- Support DEI initiatives to build diverse talent pipelines and foster an inclusive culture at the MCC.
- Work closely with People Solutions partners, HR Operations support, and HR systems, aligning resources to deliver on people plans.
- Assist in HR compliance and governance activities, including risk management, audit obligations, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Liaise between the enterprise and People Solutions to ensure smooth implementation of HR programs and provide support for change initiatives.
- Support workforce strategies, talent management, and organizational effectiveness efforts to meet business needs.
- Provide change management and development support for HR policies, practices, and initiative rollouts, in collaboration with People Solutions.
- Craft employee communications, presentations, and reports as needed to support HR initiatives and engage stakeholders.
- Manage smaller-scale projects across the HR team, engaging partners and ensuring clear communication plans.
- Promote a culture of inclusion and engagement within the MCC team, fostering positive relations across the site.
- 4-7 years of experience in HR roles such as HR Generalist, Employee Relations, or Talent Management, preferably in a site support or people operations capacity.
- Bachelors degree in HR or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce and familiarity with the unique challenges of a capability center environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels and respond effectively to inquiries.
- High proficiency in Excel and the ability to work with HR data to inform decision-making and drive adoption of people programs.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with labor laws and HR compliance in India is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple HR initiatives.
- Comfort with Word, PowerPoint and collaborative technologies; high Excel proficiency is required
