We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer/Senior Engineer in Electrical Maintenance to
oversee and ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery
within our facility. This position is responsible for managing a shift team, coordinating electrical
maintenance activities, troubleshooting issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and
supporting continuous improvement efforts to optimize equipment uptime and reliability.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and
related equipment (transformers, switchgear, motors, PLC systems, control panels, etc.).
Lead and assist in diagnosing electrical faults and implementing corrective actions for
various equipment breakdowns during the assigned shift.
Ensure the electrical systems are operating within safety guidelines and industry standards,
making sure equipment is maintained to prevent failures and downtime.
Coordination of preventive maintenance on electrical equipment with Production In charge
to minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Maintain accurate records of electrical works, including maintenance logs, repair histories,
parts usage, and safety inspections.
Collaborate with Stores on electrical spares inventory management, Servicing & refurbishing
of used Spares and equipment.
Lead and guide a team of electrical technicians and maintenance personnel during shifts,
ensuring smooth operation and adherence to maintenance schedules.
Allocate tasks to the shift team, monitor work progress, and provide on-the-job training and
support to junior team members.
Promote a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement among the shift team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
For Engineer level: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in
industrial environments (manufacturing, process plants, etc.).
For Senior Engineer level: 5+ years of experience with a proven track record in electrical
system maintenance, troubleshooting, and team leadership.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, control systems, PLCs, motors, and other
electrical equipment.
Proficiency in electrical schematics and diagnostic tools ( multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
Familiarity with safety standards, electrical codes and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
