Location:Thengana, KerelaSummary:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) Mathematics educator to join our academic team in Thengana, Kerala. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to secondary-level students, fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, and cultivating critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This position is essential for maintaining academic excellence and inspiring student achievement within a supportive and dynamic learning environment. The teacher will be responsible for curriculum delivery, student assessment, and continuous professional development to ensure alignment with educational standards.Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons aligned with the curriculum for Grades 6–10
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote conceptual understanding and application of mathematical principles
- Assess student performance through regular quizzes, tests, and assignments, providing constructive feedback
- Identify individual learning needs and provide targeted support to enhance student outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a TGT Mathematics teacher
- Strong command of the state board curriculum (Kerala State Board)
- Proficiency in using digital tools and educational technology for teaching and assessment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
- Passion for student-centered learning and academic excellence
