Job Description :- Lead routine to complex assignments of fitness for service (FFS) assessment (levels I, II, and III) and finite element analysis (FEA) of static equipment- Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers working on FFS, FEA assignments, and remaining life assessments (RLA)- Provide technical support on proposals related to FFS scopes; study SoW documents supplied by the client, establish technical approach, estimate efforts, and schedule requirements- Address technical questions/clarifications raised by internal and external stakeholders, participate in technical meetings with them to represent Oceaneering s FFS/FEA capabilities- Work hands-on complex engineering assignments- Establish engineering process documents and checklists for engineers to follow, review & approve work done by others for quality- Apply relevant industry codes and standards (e.g. ASME VIII Div 1/2, API 579, etc.) effectively, prepare necessary calculations using these standards and basic engineering formulas- Train/coach junior engineers on FFS/FEA areas as well as use of relevant codes/standards- Demonstrate strong knowledge and application of various damage mechanisms
