Preferred Region: GujaratJob Summary:We are looking for experienced Fabrication Engineers to lead and manage fabrication operations involving sheet metal, welding, and surface treatment processes. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, hands-on shop floor experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Nesting software, and SAP.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage operations of the Fabrication Shop, including subcontractorsEnsure adherence to production plans and timelines (daily/weekly/monthly targets)Supervise sheet metal fabrication processes: laser cutting, press brake, rolling, polishing, auto weldingOversee painting, powder coating, shot blasting/sandblasting operationsCoordinate with Design, Purchase, PPC, Assembly, Quality, and StoresMaintain process discipline and in-process quality checksDrive continuous improvement initiatives and develop team capabilityUse CAD/CAM tools for nesting and layout optimizationWork in alignment with SAP/SAP B1 for material and production trackingKey Skills & Competencies:Expertise in sheet metal and fabrication processesHands-on experience in Trumpf machines, AutoCAD, and nesting softwareFamiliarity with painting and coating techniquesWorking knowledge of SAP / SAP Business OneStrong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
