Production Engineer - Fabrication

- Plan and monitor daily fabrication activities to meet production targets.
- Review engineering drawings, work orders, and material requirements to determine fabrication methods.
- Supervise and coordinate with welders, fitters, and machine operators on the shop floor.
- Ensure all fabricated products meet quality and dimensional standards.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce cost/time.
- Manage inventory of raw materials, consumables, and tools required for fabrication.
- Liaise with the design and QA/QC teams to resolve fabrication issues.
- Implement 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices.
- Ensure safety compliance and conduct toolbox talks and safety audits regularly.
- Prepare daily and weekly production reports and present them to senior management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-related problems on the shop floor.
- Should understand the customer requirements and be able to solve the additional requirements as required.
- Should be self-driven, capable of taking up challenges and ownership.
- Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees.
- PC skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required.
- Good written & oral communication.
