The company has established Adani TotalEnergies Biomass Limited (ATBL), a wholly owned subsidiary dedicated to the development of biogas activities in India.Through its comprehensive approach to energy distribution and sustainable practices, Adani Total Gas Limited continues to play a vital role in enhancing energy accessibility and contributing to India's infrastructure development.JOB PURPOSEThis role is responsible for meticulously overseeing contract administration and compliance, defining detailed technical specifications for projects, managing procurement processes, driving innovation and technology integration initiatives, collaborating with vendors to ensure product quality, and fostering team engagement and development to optimize departmental performance.Responsibilities:Technical Services & Contract Administration Team Lead - E1Contract Administration and Compliance:
  • Conducts a thorough review of service execution against contractual agreements to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • Attends cross-functional meetings to provide expert input on field issues in relation to contracts.
  • Organizes and leads third-party audit activities to evaluate contract adherence and work quality.
  • Performs the verification of contractor invoices and, if required, through direct site assessments.
  • Develops a standard checklist for consistent audit procedures across all businesses.
  • Initiates and expands the scope of site verification processes to encompass all business units for enhanced quality assurance.
Project Specification and Procurement:
  • Defines detailed technical specifications for new projects, ensuring all service procurement aligns with current needs and standards.
  • Executes the procurement process by raising Purchase Requisitions in line with determined contract specifications.
  • Conducts pipeline network modeling and simulations for new service areas to assess feasibility and optimize resource allocation.
  • Participates in the solicitation and evaluation process for selecting and approving vendors, emphasizing product quality and service.
Innovation and Technology Integration:
  • Leads new technological project initiatives from need identification through to pilot phases, launch, and ongoing management.
  • Manages the publication of quarterly release of the Technical Services newsletter.
  • Manages the company's Geographical Information System (GIS) to enhance operational visibility and decision-making.
  • Champions value engineering efforts to improve service quality and achieve cost optimization.
  • Conceptualizes and delivers designs for upcoming infrastructure projects and new business establishments.
Vendor Management and Collaboration:
  • Conducts a systematic shortlisting and evaluation of vendors according to the services and products they provide.
  • Collaborates with vendors to ensure the continuous improvement of product offerings and technical support.
  • Establishes a framework for regular vendor performance assessments to maintain high standards of service delivery.
People and Team Engagement:
  • Provides strategic recommendations to management concerning staffing and team engagement for optimal department performance.
  • Acts as a key advisor on identifying and predicting technical staffing needs based on projected workloads.
  • Facilitates cross-departmental collaboration to identify skill development opportunities for technical staff.
  • Supervises and supports the team to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications:Educational Qualification:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering).Work Experience:Minimum 15+ years of experience in technical services, project management, or related fields within the gas distribution or energy sector.Preferred Industry:Gas distribution, oil and gas, energy, or related industries with a focus on infrastructure, technology integration, and innovation.
