Job Category: Healthcare AuditingJob Description:Assistant Manager - Coding Auditor is responsible for supervising a team of coding auditors and ensuring high-quality audit outcomes. This role involves performing audits, reviewing team outputs, and providing feedback to improve accuracy and compliance. The AM supports workflow management, monitors productivity, and ensures adherence to coding guidelines and SOPs. Additionally, the role requires coordination with internal stakeholders and timely escalation of issues.Responsibilities:

Lead training sessions on current coding-Audit for Multiple specialties.
Develop curriculum and training handbook.
Create presentations.
Perform quality assurance reviews to assess comprehension of training efforts.
Organize and participate in Coding-Audit meetings.
Review and respond to coding questions.
Research updated coding information.
Conduct coding reviews and training programs to assure coding quality.
Ensure billed service is being accurately coded.
Perform random chart audits.
Hold regular meetings to communicate new findings.
Perform analysis of benchmarking profiles.
Provide continual coding and payer updates.
Research coding issues that arise.

Qualifications:Requirements :(AM-B1)

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences / Nursing / Paramedical or related field.
Active State Nursing License (mandatory).
Certifications: CPC / CCS (CPMA preferred).
5-7 years of experience in medical coding with strong auditing exposure.
Hands-on experience in multi-specialty coding (Surgery preferred).
Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS coding systems.
Experience in quality auditing and documentation review.
Good communication, analytical, and team handling skills.
Familiarity with EHR systems and coding tools.
Knowledge of payer guidelines and compliance requirements (HIPAA, CMS).
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
