- Partner with hiring managers across various departments to identify recruitment needs and strategize hiring
- Adhere to recruitment KPIs like time to hire in addition to tracking source of hire and time to fill etc.,
- Create and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Identify appropriate sourcing channels, post jobs in relevant mediums and track candidate information in the form of recruitment database
- Screen candidate profiles efficiently based on relevance as specified in the job description
- Interview candidates at various stages of the hiring process (phone screening calls, video interviews and in-person meetings)
- Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs and network with potential candidates
- Manage all communication with candidates from job application through onboarding
- Interact with prospective candidates, understand their motivations and objectives, and evaluate the candidate-organization alignment.
- Set up discussions / interviews with the interview panel and facilitate the recruitment process
- Coordinate for interviews with the hiring managers and follow up on the interview status
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
- Ensure recruitment 'Service Level Agreements' (SLAs) are met as mutually agreed with supervisor / manager and other key stakeholders
- Master's degree in Human Resources (or related field)
- 6-7 years of experience as a recruiter, preferably from an IT background
- Strong sourcing skills – Boolean search, X-Ray search etc.
- Listening skills that help you “understand” the intent, psyche and the reasoning of the candidates you interreact with
- Familiarity with tools of the trade – Naukri, Monster, LinkedIn, Social media platforms etc. for sourcing active and latent talent
- Proven track record of hiring across multiple geographies (US, UK, Europe, Middle East, APAC, India)
- Strong knowledge of global recruitment practices, visa processes, and compliance requirements
- Ability to handle time zone differences and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.) and experience using an Applicant Tracking System
- Excellent business communication skills with effective presentation and demonstration skills
- Strong decision-making skills and excellent stakeholder management
- Strong negotiation skills with up-to-date knowledge on market trends regarding compensation
- Must be proactive and self-driven
