- Business Development Manager - B2B- Location: Ahmedabad- Experience: 5+ years- Travel: Extensive PAN India travel required- Industry Preference: Food ingredients, agri-products, food processingJob Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager (B2B Sales) to drive institutional and industrial sales of our food ingredients and agro-products to food processing and food manufacturing companies across India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying key clients, nurturing business relationships, and closing large-volume deals in a B2B setup.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic B2B sales plans targeting food processing and manufacturing companies.- Identify and build long-term relationships with procurement heads, purchase teams, and decision-makers across industries.- Generate and follow up on sales leads, RFQs, and enquiries across India.- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure profitable sales growth.- Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and recommend product modifications based on customer feedback.- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.- Submit weekly/monthly sales reports to senior management.Key Requirements:- Proven B2B sales experience (5-10 years) in the food/agri/ingredients sector.- Strong existing network in food processing/manufacturing industry is highly desirable.- Willingness to travel extensively across India.- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.- Self-motivated, target-driven, and well-organized.- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Food Technology, or Agri-business is preferred (ref:updazz.com)
