- Manage end-to-end import operations for engineering and project equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost optimization.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping companies to streamline logistics.
- Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, IMDG code, customs requirements, and packaging standards.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation: invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, declarations.
- Build and manage vendor relationships; negotiate contracts with logistics service providers and track performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams-engineering, procurement, and finance-to align import strategies with project timelines.
- Support planning and movement of ODC and capital items in coordination with logistics and site teams.
- Track and report import budgets, KPIs, and country-specific regulatory updates.
- Drive continuous improvement in supply chain and import operations for engineering and project categories.
- Support cross-functional initiatives related to new product development, capital expansion, and global sourcing.
- A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Experience handling import logistics within the chemical industry or similar sectors.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping standards.
- Strong skills in vendor management and cost optimisation.
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
- An analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.
