As an Application Engineer - Tier 2, you will be at the front end of our mission, playing a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical challenges for our life sciences clients. Leveraging your expertise in ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, and web technologies, you'll ensure optimal software performance and customer satisfaction. Your technical skills, problem-solving ability, and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to the success and innovation of innovative digital solutions.Responsibilities:

Application Support & Troubleshooting: Provide high-level technical support, researching, diagnosing, and troubleshooting application/product issues to ensure quick resolution.

Application Configuration & Integration: Design, build, and configure applications to meet specific business processes and application requirements. This includes integration with Single Sign-On (SSO) services using LDAP, ADFS, OKTA, and PING.

Database Management: Demonstrate expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries, interpreting query execution plans, and performing database management tasks to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Application Engineers – Level 1 to ensure that customer needs are addressed efficiently.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create detailed documentation regarding troubleshooting steps and resolution outcomes. Share knowledge with team members to enhance the overall capabilities of the support team.

Agile Methodology: Work within an Agile framework, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure timely delivery of support solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in customer support or technical support roles, Level 2, ideally within the software or IT industry.

Strong technical skills, including familiarity with software development principles and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment, also a self-initiated/ motivated person, collaborating with other departments to resolve customer issues.

Commitment to providing exceptional customer service, with a focus on resolving issues efficiently and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Experience 3 to 5 years of ASP.NET with C#, Dot Net Framework 4.0 and above, SQL SERVER, and Web API.

Experience writing SQL queries and interpreting query execution plans.

Knowledge/Experience in Scripting: JavaScript, JQuery, LinQ.

Knowledge/Experience in HTML5, CSS 3, Bootstrap, XML.

Experience in MVC pattern, MS Word, MS Excel, OpenOffice, DevExpress, FarPoint, Infragistics, and Ajax.

Experience with Web Server IIS 7.0 and above, source control systems like DevOps, and TFS.

Knowledge/Experience in SSO integration using LDAP, ADFS, OKTA, and PING.

Experience in MVC Pattern.

Knowledge of Agile Methodology.
