
Channel Sales Manager | Leading Li-ion Battery Manufacturer

- Responsible for channel sales and the distribution network for Li-ion batteries across India.
- Build relationships with dealers and OEMs for Li-ion batteries and chargers for EV and solar applications related products.
- Manage and develop relationships with distributors, resellers, and other indirect sales partners to drive revenue and market penetration.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners.
- Develop and implement channel sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
- Work with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development) to ensure alignment and support for channel partners.
- Track and analyze channel sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Provide regular reports on channel sales performance and forecasts, including Competition MIS.
- Should have 8-10 years of experience in automotive batteries.
- Demonstrated ability to acquire, build, and deepen relationships.
- Proven experience in channel sales (Li-ion Batteries, EV Batteries & Chargers).
- Understanding of the EV ecosystem (chargers, batteries, BMS, inverters, etc.).
- Knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology, power electronics, and energy management systems.
- Ability to train and present to partners on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in B2B/B2C sales models.
- Ability to drive revenue and close large deals through indirect sales.
- Possess negotiation skills for partner margins, pricing structures, and target achievement terms.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with partners.
- Ability to operate with minimal direct supervision.
- Qualification: MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Energy Management.
