This role involves managing and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes utilizing IBM Sterling Integrator (SI) and Sterling File Gateway (SFG). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in EDI processes, excellent technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. KEY Responsibilities:- EDI Implementation & Integration: Design, implement, and maintain EDI processes using IBM Sterling Integrator and Sterling File Gateway. System Configuration: Configure and optimize the IBM Sterling Integrator and Sterling File Gateway to meet business requirements efficiently. Mapping & Translation: Configure and optimize the IBM Sterling Integrator and Sterling File Gateway to meet business requirements efficiently. Trading Partner Management: Manage trading partner relationships, including onboarding new partners, setting up EDI communication channels, and resolving any issues related to EDI transactions. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor EDI transactions, investigate and resolve any errors or discrepancies, and ensure the smooth flow of data between internal systems and external partners. EDI Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with EDI standards and industry regulations, staying updated with changes and updates to standards as necessary. Documentation & Training: Create and maintain documentation for EDI processes, configurations, and standards. Provide training and support to internal teams on EDI-related topics. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT, supply chain, and business operations to understand requirements and implement effective EDI solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience working with IBM Sterling Integrator and Sterling File Gateway in an EDI environment. Strong understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML. Experience in mapping and translation of EDI documents using mapping tools within IBM Sterling Integrator. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, or Python is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot EDI issues effectively. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and EDI VANs (Value-Added Networks) is desirable.
