We are looking for a talented, driven and experienced Business Analyst for the Emerging Markets Seller Trust team. It is a pivotal role that will contribute to the evolution and success of one of the key priorities of the organization by insights mining and data modelling to make high impact decisions that reduce time to identify seller abuse, bad debt and also help to identify focus areas for enhancing accuracy in identifying abuse to reduce false positives . Joining the team means partnering with a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Key deliverables of the role:
  • Own the weekly and monthly dashboards on Negative Seller Balance and associated deep dives
  • Automate data templates and reports
  • Engage with stakeholder teams (Finance, Emerging Markets Seller Trust Product, Abuse Prevention, Business teams) to help run deep dives, test hypothesis and impact of ML/product changes made, on key metrics
  • Own the Fraud enforcement funnel dashboard and associated deep dives
Key job responsibilities
The successful BA should be able to demonstrate:
  • Strong Excel and SQL skills
  • Passion for converting data to insights, building frameworks for decision making, high attention to details and data fidelity
  • Ability to prioritize and focus on high impact areas
  • Teamwork and problem solving skills
  • Communicate thoughts clearly and good verbal command
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience
- 1+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL
- Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level
- Experience with data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similarPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Candidate with experience working on e-commerce data will be preferred.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
