As a core member of our Data Operations, Interface Solutions team, you will be working with some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon. Data Operations, Interface Solutions group is responsible for all aspects of portfolio data exchange and support - trade activity, pricing and position data. The group has both an operational and a strategic mandate to fulfill. This is accomplished through a location strategy that combines presence in strategic locations close to our client needs and the utilization of standardization, centralization and scale in our operational Centre of Excellence (CoE) locations. Position Overview The Senior Analyst is part of the mapping function within Interface Solutions and is responsible for meeting the deliverables of the Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) requirements in the group. The Senior Analyst will develop a comprehensive understanding of accounting, trade capture and data processing functions. The successful candidate will have the ability to follow processes and have develop a good understanding of complex financial instruments. The candidate will be a member of a team that is responsible for management of all aspects of automating and processing this data, via currently supported interfaces, the loading of client activity/ position related data into Citco's accounting and daily reject processing and act as The Senior Analyst is expected to be have superior knowledge of ETL concepts and in how to resolve related ETL data issues. Your Role ETL / Data Mapping Core duties include mapping externally provided files into the Citco Normalized Data Container (NDC) tool and Xceptor ETL Tool. SQL knowledge is required (this can be learned) in order to create logic to translate broker-specific files into the normalized values required in the Normalized Data Container. Ensure client data is flowing as expected when new interfaces are implemented. Analyze files and validate that all product/ asset class specific data is being provided. Interpret business logic to define and translate data mappings; QA test and validate output using a suite of mapping tools and downstream target applications. Ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction as well as management of service expectations including work products, timing, and value to be delivered. Create, maintain and enhance a repeatable process to ensure a quality experience for each client of Citco. Assist management to evolve and enhance set processes and procedures Take a proactive approach to solving issues, display initiative and good example by contributing ideas for increased efficiencies and/or automation of the various support procedures About You Education and Experience Education & Experiences Bachelor or master level degree in accounting, finance, business, economics or other relevant professional designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA); General knowledge of databases or experience using SQL Server (T-SQL) and/or Oracle is required. General ETL process experience Any 3-4 years' experience in Financial Services with an exposure Operations processing is preferred. Product knowledge, Domestic, Global and OTC security markets, Fixed Income and derivative product knowledge. Business Analyst experience is desired besides comfort with the Microsoft Office suite. Ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial products and strategies that a hedge fund might use. Must possess excellent communication skills. Good problem-solving skills. Candidates are required to research problems reported by operations teams to determine if an actual problem exists or if additional training is required. When actual problem exists, they need to recommend a workaround until an actual fix to the problem is implemented. Ability to explain technical concepts to users in terms that can be easily understood. Hedge fund operations/ admin experience preferable, preferably with cash reconciliations Ability to interact with clients, vendors, and brokers for support and information Good interpersonal skills required. Candidate is expected to collaborate with peers across the organization Working Hours and Location Operational hours requirements for Interface Solutions, ETL/CPM team in Pune/Hyderabad overlaps with APAC, European and NA Region. The working hours need to adapt to operational needs. The team covers Asia-Pacific, European and North American time zones starting at 10:00 to 23:00 IST on Weekdays.
