It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!Job Description:Ingram Micro is a leading technology company for the global information technology ecosystem.With the ability to reach nearly 90% of the global population, we play a vital role in the worldwide IT sales channel, bringing products and services from technology manufacturers and cloud providers to business-to-business technology experts.Our market reach, diverse solutions and services portfolio, and digital platform Ingram Micro Xvantage™ set us apartKey Responsibilities:Litigation & Compliance:Represent the company before GST and VAT authorities, appellate forums, and tribunals for South and East regions.Draft and review replies to Show Cause Notices (SCNs), audit objections, and departmental queries.Coordinate with external legal counsel and consultants for litigation strategy and case preparation.Ensure timely filing of appeals, submissions, and other litigation-related documentation.Audit & Assessment Support:Handle GST audits, VAT assessments, and departmental inspections.Liaise with internal and statutory auditors for indirect tax-related matters.Maintain proper documentation and evidence to support tax positions.Cross-functional Coordination:Work closely with finance, legal, supply chain, and business teams to ensure tax-compliant operations.Train regional teams on GST/VAT updates and litigation preparedness.Compliance, Advisory & Risk Management:Assist in PAN India GST ComplianceMonitor changes in indirect tax laws and assess their impact on business operations in the assigned regions.Identify and mitigate tax risks through proactive planning and internal controls.States:South – Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry.East – Kolkata, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam.What you bring to the role:Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or LLB with specialization in Taxation.Experience: 4–5 years in indirect tax litigation, with regional exposure to South and East India preferred.Skills: Strong drafting, analytical, liasioning and communication skills
