Position:Panel OfficerLocation:Uppugal - WarangalExperience:6 - 10 YearsIndustries:OilResponsibilities:Ensure process records are maintained in batch card.Where required call for the same for cross verification with panel readings. * Check record of charging qty, pressure, flow, temp, unloading etc (as applicable) in batch card.
  • Be vigilant in process monitoring, visual checks while batch is in process and coordinate with operator / shift in-charge for field report, process conformity and abnormalities observed, if any.
  • Maintain communication and coordination with the / shift in-charge while batch is in process.
  • Highlight deviations immediately to avoid rework / failure and control delay in delivery.
  • Check the labels for lot nos, batch nos etc prior to its issue for fixing on packages.
  • Ensure that necessary fitments and checks prior to tanker unloading or loading start-up are done.
  • Maintain all necessary records and provide details of process summary in shift Log books including those related to Safety, Quality, Mechanical problems / repairs and process changes.
  • Implement / Maintain HSE practices in all activities.
  • Ensure that batch data in the DCS is archived properly and can be retrieved when required.
  • Maintain list of interlocks – ensure that the same are in protected condition to avoid inadvertent use.
  • Follow MOC procedures for any request for change in batch size, interlock, settings etc.
  • Ensure that the equipment, operating vessel and lines, valves, etc in good condition & in synchronized condition with DCS / operating system.
  • Coordinate with instrumentation team for all DCS settings, interlocks, changes, operating conditions.
  • Ensure prompt maintenance, trouble shooting of deviations, breakdown corrections in coordination with instrumentation dept.
  • Ensure that measuring / special devices (if any) are always in calibrated condition, if not get the same calibrated from instrumentation dept.
  • Follow instructions provided by instrumentation dept for panel operations.
  • Follow guidelines for waste management.
  • Participate in safety talk and other routine training programs specific to the Job; trainings on Emergency response, mock drill and other QHSSE elements shall be strictly attended.
  • To operate the DCS, monitoring of process efficiently to avoid potential failure.
  • Provide training to sub ordinate for SOP / WI & HSE practices.
  • To ensure the adherence of safety standards, operating procedures and processes for the related products as per the ISO norms by all subordinates.
  • To prepare reports related to production module of prior, during and post production of each batch.
  • To send in processed and finished product samples to the QC department for analysis and receive the feedback report of the same for dispatch/reproduction purposes.
  • To monitor the reactor status and inform the maintenance department if need be.
  • To fill up batch cards on the ongoing production.
  • To ensure that all safety procedures are adhered to in the Plant.
