Hiring for IBM MQ Admin - BangaloreJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced IBM MQ Administrator to manage and support the enterprise messaging infrastructure. This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of IBM MQ (formerly WebSphere MQ) environments across development, testing, and production systems.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ and MQ MFT (Managed File Transfer) environments.Design and implement MQ infrastructure components (queues, topics, channels, listeners, etc.).Monitor and tune MQ performance, availability, and reliability.Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for MQ.Develop and maintain MQ scripts for automated monitoring, health checks, and queue management.Provide day-to-day operational support and troubleshooting for messaging-related issues.Work with application development teams to define messaging requirements and support integration.Ensure security of messaging infrastructure through authentication, authorization, and encryption configurations.Maintain MQ documentation and architecture diagrams.Apply patches, upgrades, and coordinate change management activities.Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation as needed.
