(1) Responsible for implementing all Electrical development related activities for machines.(2) Coordination against development activities between Kanpur and Bangalore units against various activities.(3) Anchoring among various design & development vertices of EED for smooth transition from development phase to production phase.(4) Responsible for implementing the development activities in machines for the feature addition, cost reduction and performance improvement.(5) Preparing electrical circuitry, Bill of Material (BOM/BOQ), cable schedule and other designing documents.(6) To support internal agencies, including CTS, Spares and marketing deptt against the specific requirements.(7) Working in SAP and maintaining all design documents.(8) To support production against changes in design and implement new developments etc, as standard in scheme.(9) To support service team to get them to understand the new design, changes, and modifications in design and to troubleshoot the customer s problem. This may require travelling to customers sites also.(10) To prepare design documents and design notes for various agencies against the new design change and proposals for references.(11) Lab testing as well as active (prototype) testing of all kinds of changes against new development and design changes, including software change.(12) To work in conjunction with other functional areas, specifically with mechanical design to achieve the common design goals. Team spirit must achieve organizational goals.(13) Taking care of R&D machines with the help of other team-mates. This gives hands-on experience and confidence in the performance and capability of machines and accordingly exploring areas of improvement.(14)Meeting specific customized requirements from electrical design side. Responsible for keeping a close co-ordination on behalf of design with production, SCM, marketing.(15) Creating Super BOM, OD of new FG code of T/L, Printing. Alternate component sourcing and solutions for the product. Should be smart enough to handle the tough & challenging working conditions. Should have enough maturity to handle avoid every type of distractions & able to complete the targeted task.
