- Drive the creation and validation of new product ideas, concepts, and experiences based on emerging consumer trends and unmet needs.
- Establish and run structured innovation sprints, idea labs, and cross-functional workshops.
- Translate consumer insights into breakthrough product concepts that can create category disruption.2. Consumer & Market Foresight
- Lead primary and secondary research to uncover deep consumer motivations and white spaces.
- Monitor macro and micro trends across design, technology, and lifestyle influencing the FMCD space.
- Translate foresight into opportunity maps and strategic recommendations.3. Product & Portfolio Strategy
- Define category roadmaps and product lifecycle strategies in alignment with business and brand goals.
- Partner with R&D and NPD teams to prioritize and shape product development briefs.
- Own the upstream business case: market sizing, target pricing, and revenue potential.4. Drive Cross-functional Alignment
- Partner with key stakeholders in Sales, Design, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure product feasibility and business alignment.
- Act as a strategic bridge between early-stage idea development and go-to-market execution.
- Establish review mechanisms to govern innovation pipeline health and progression.
- MBA in Marketing or equivalent qualification 13-15 years of experience in upstream marketing, product strategy, category development, or innovation roles
- Experience in FMCD / Consumer Electronics / Appliances / FMCG industries is strongly preferred
- Proven exposure to customer insight generation, new product development, and cross functional project management
- Work closely with Business Head and downstream marketing team on GTM ideas for innovation ideas
