About This Opportunity As a developer, you will work in BSS/OSS products within Ericsson. You will be responsible for performing technical studies, creating detailed requirements for design and development teams out of business requirements. You may need to perform requirement impact studies, system sketches, driving architecture evolution and improvements in different product areas. Development is done according to Agile principles in multi-functional self-organized teams with typically 5-7 Developers. The cornerstones in our development include a very high level of test automation, continuous integration and daily deliveries in a DevOps approach. What You Will Do Work in a development team with breakdown of requirements, design, implementation, test, documentation and verification including security and LCM handling. Manage component and micro services in continuous release flow. Contribute to improve our processes, tools and frameworks.! You will bring Required Skills: Excellence in Software Design, Architecture principles and SDLC. Programming experience on Java (hands-on required) Competency in Java Concepts, Collection, multi-threading and understanding of algorithms and data structures. Design thinking abilities - Ideation to implementation for product development. deployment. Strong networking skills and expertise in various protocols e. g.: CDMA, WCDMA, GSM, CIP, SS7, UMTS, SIP, Diameter, GPRS, WAP, IP Mobile, SIGTRAN, RADIUS, RPC, XML-RPC, HTTP. Basic understanding of Cloud native application (Cloud Native Certifications is preferable) and development. Exposure to Cloud technologies specifically to Docker & Kubernetes. Good knowledge of Linux and Solaris. Version control and GIT/Gerrit/Maven knowledge. Maven and SBT - Building instructions are defined in these techniques (Java- Maven, Scala- SBT) Understanding of microservices and cloud native technologies. Tools & Technology: Python (scripting language), Helm Chart (deployment specification), IntelliJ (development environment), Jira, ADP (Ericsson Micro Service framework), XML, XSLT, XML Schemas (Markup technology), Jenkins (pipeline orchestration). Added Advantages to have: Prior working experience in telecom product (OSS/BSS) and its development. Experience of working in an Agile environment will be a plus. Understanding and hands-on experience on Scala Programming Language. Exposure to multicultural experiences a definite advantage. Merit skills: Good understanding of Cassandra database, knowledge of ZooKeeper for maintaining configuration information. Qualification 4 to 8 years of relevant experience. B.E. or equivalent experience /B Tech. /M Tech preferably in Computer Science or Electronics or MCA.
