- Design, deploy, and manage large-scale Cisco SD WAN and Versa Secure SD WAN architectures across enterprises and cloud environments
- Develop scalable WAN/LAN/SD LAN/WLAN networks incorporating protocols like TCP/IP, MPLS, VxLAN, IPsec, BGP, OSPF, GRE, and implement QoS, firewall (NGFW), proxy, WAF, CDN, and DDoS defenses .
- Integrate SDN with modern elements like NFV, SASE, Versa Secure Access, Cisco Umbrella, and other security platforms.
- Architect cloud connectivity solutions using Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Equinix/Megaport interconnects, as well as AWS, Azure, and GCP networking.
- Automate network configurations using scripting (e.g., Python), manage access control, enforce security policies, and support compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, perform optimization and performance tuning.
- Lead network teams, provide mentorship, and communicate technical strategies to stakeholders.
- Document designs and operations (HLD/LLD, SOPs), monitor network health, and ensure operational excellence under pressure.
- Experience: 10+ years in network architecture and delivery; 3+ years with Cisco SD WAN (Preferred) and Versa SD WAN.
- Education: Bachelor s in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
- Certifications: Cisco CCNP (or equivalent) and Versa Certified SD WAN (VNX100 or Specialist).
- Deep technical skills: TCP/IP, WAN/LAN/WLAN, MPLS, VxLAN, IPsec, BGP, OSPF, GRE, QoS.
- Security & access control: Experience with NGFW, proxy, WAF, CDN; understanding of authentication and encryption.
- Cloud network architectures: AWS, Azure, GCP Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, multi-cloud designs.
- Problem-solving: Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and technical innovation.
- Communication & leadership: Superior oral/written/presentation skills; strong sense of ownership and resilience.
- Scripting/automation: Python, Ansible, Terraform.
- SaaS/IaaS/PaaS and virtualization knowledge.
- Experience with: DDI (DHCP/DNS/IPAM), monitoring tools (Spectrum, SevOne, ThousandEyes), security platforms (Infoblox, Zscaler, Akamai, Imperva).
- Cloud interconnect familiarity: Equinix, Megaport.
- Certifications in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) or additional SDN expertise.
