- Utilize expertise in designing electrical products encompassing circuit, schematic, and PCB board development.
- Manage microcontroller firmware, including writing firmware for prototypes and conducting thorough testing.
- Develop system, communication, and protocol specifications, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform system debugging, analyze and resolve issues, and implement necessary changes.
- Maintain comprehensive product documentation and provide sustaining support and design maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with functional team, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, as well as product and program managers.
- Proficient in the ECAD tools: ORCAD
- Working knowledge of Electronics Circuit Design and Simulation (Analog/Digital/Mixed Signal), Schematics Capture, Library development, PCB design and manufacturing process, BOM and Gerber data generation and verification.
- Working knowledge of Firmware development understanding C/ASM +, machine codes and embedded system architecture and constraints. Able to write test firmware and evaluate/validate circuit boards.
- Strong use of test equipment – multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power supply, spectrum analyzer, and power analyzer.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis, write reports and rework SMT circuit boards.
- Working Knowledge of RF/Antenna design and simulation is desirable.
- 8 to 10 years of system design engineering experience.
- Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware/Software Engineering expertise
- Experience in PCB design (Cadence OrCAD Preferred), Low power circuit design, Microcontrollers and Communication protocols, I2C, SPI, UART, RF.
