- To carry out all the Instrumentation related engineering activities in the plant to meet the production targets with the operational excellence culture.
- To carry out all the Calibration activities within the due date by using current SOPs.
- To carry out the Preventive, predictive, breakdown & shutdown maintenance of PLC, DCS and all field & Control Instruments.
- Provide the services & equipment needed for new products and formulation changes.
- Preparing Calibration schedules, Shut-Down schedules.
- Identifying the required equipment spares and accessories.
- To continuously monitor the maintenance activities in the plant
- Reporting the status of the maintenance activity to the Instrumentation Manager daily
- Perform regular/periodic activities of GMP procedures established in the plant
- Follow safety procedures like work permit systems, PPE usage during the maintenance
- Check and verify all the standard weights & weighing balance’s certificates every month and ensure that all are updated.

- Provide maintenance support to achieve the production targets in each shift.
- Contribute to the planning of work activities to maximize overall efficiency and to assist other members of the team as required to carry out the planned work activities.
- Co-ordination with production, Quality Assurance, Stores, Projects, Fire & Safety/Environment and other Engineering & Maintenance Department’s functions to ensure compliance to the committed Plan.
- Review of GMP documents like deviation reports, SOP etc without taking much time.
- Providing pre planed schedule for the coming month in advance to perform calibration and giving clearance for maintenance work activities
- Co-ordinate with maintenance team during the commissioning of Instruments, systems and validation of new projects.

- Co-ordination in common engineering maintenance jobs and pre planed schedule in advance to perform calibration and maintenance in time
- To continuously interact with production and other engineering teams to provide efficient Instrumentation maintenance of equipment, reduce the break downs and improve the service.
- Updating the knowledge of GMP by reading and understanding the SOPs.
- To ensure the safety of co-workers in the plant and adherence to the EHS and safety regulations.
- Calibration and Maintenance of all Instrumentation related engineering activities with quality service to meet the production targets in a most cost effective manner with the operational excellence culture.
- Continuously working on to improve/upgrade the safety of the plant and in adherence to EHS policy.
