By combining advanced quantitative modeling with AI-driven insights, we're redefining how data becomes strategy — and how technology shapes the future of trading.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong exposure to the Agri-Commodities sector and proven experience in Business RequirementsDocumentation (BRD). This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and technology, translating complex market and operational requirements into clear, structured deliverables for technical and product teams.You will work closely with trading, operations, product, data science, and engineering teams to ensure that analytical platforms, market intelligence tools, and technology solutions align with real business needs and market realities.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirements Management● Engage with stakeholders across agri-commodities trading, supply chain, analytics, risk, and operations to gather and analyze business requirements.● Create and maintain comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), along with functional requirements, use cases, user stories, andprocess flows.● Ensure requirements are clear, traceable, and aligned with business objectives and technical feasibility.Technical & Product Collaboration● Translate business needs into technical specifications for engineering, data, and product teams.● Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the development lifecycle.● Support Agile / SDLC processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement clarification.Domain & Market Intelligence● Apply knowledge of agri-commodities markets, pricing drivers, seasonality, logistics, and trade flows to shape product and analytics requirements.● Work with data science and analytics teams to define data inputs, outputs, and success metrics for forecasting, dashboards, and predictive models.Process Improvement & Analysis● Analyze existing systems and workflows, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and recommend scalable improvements.● Support automation, digitization, and analytics-driven decision frameworks across business functions.Testing & Validation● Collaborate with QA teams to design test scenarios and acceptance criteria based on documented requirements.● Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate solutions against BRDs and functional expectations.Documentation & Reporting● Maintain up-to-date documentation for business rules, data definitions, workflows, and feature specifications.● Prepare structured insights, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders and leadership.Required Skills & QualificationsMust-Have● Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Agriculture / Agri-Business, Finance, or a related field.● 3–7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, preferably in agri-commodities, commodities trading, supply chain, fintech, or analytics-driven environments.● Strong hands-on experience in creating Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and related BA artifacts.● Solid understanding of SDLC and experience working in Agile environments.● Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex business and technical concepts.● Strong analytical mindset with experience using Excel, SQL, or Python for data analysis.● Comfort working with data-driven products, APIs, system integrations, and cloud-based platforms (conceptual understanding is sufficient).● Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, data scientists, and product managers.Domain Knowledge (Preferred)● Understanding of agri-commodities markets, including pricing mechanisms, supply chains, logistics, and regulatory considerations.● Exposure to market analytics, forecasting, or trading platforms is a strong advantage.Why Join Mintelligence?● Work on intelligence-first, high-impact analytics platforms.● Be part of a team combining market expertise, quantitative thinking, and AI innovation.● Solve complex, real-world problems in agri-commodities, global trade, and financial markets.● Operate in an environment that values clarity, precision, and foresight.
