- Master's degree in Journalism from an accredited institution
- 4-8 of professional writing and editing experience, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, corporate communications, or related fields
- Proven ability to write strategic thought leadership content and B2B enterprise narratives that influence C-suite decision-makers
- Experience with both long-form content (whitepapers, case studies, research articles, executive briefings) and short-form copy (social media, ad headlines, email campaigns)
- Ability to adapt writing style between strategic business analysis and empathetic human-centric storytelling
- Experience translating complex healthcare, life sciences and AI concepts into accessible, engaging language for diverse audiences
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and editing skills with knowledge of AP style and business publication standards
- Comfort working independently and owning multiple active projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Experience writing on behalf of leadership teams, including executive messaging, presentations, and strategic communications
- Ability to pivot quickly based on market feedback, growth experiments, or changing business priorities
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with willingness to identify content gaps and propose strategic solutions
- Strong collaboration skills for working directly with founders, creative team, and external partners
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization
- Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and social media scheduling tools
- Understanding of content performance metrics and ability to use data to inform future content decisions
- Experience coordinating with freelancers, agencies, or external subject matter experts
- Portfolio demonstrating thought leadership content that has influenced industry conversations or executive decision-making
- Experience with B2B enterprise copywriting, including sales enablement materials and executive communications
- Track record of creating human-centric product marketing content that balances technical accuracy with emotional resonance
- Knowledge of conversion rate optimization and content marketing strategies for complex B2B sales processes
- Basic understanding of design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences and/or AI industries is a plus
