The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a specific focus on Oracle database testing and API testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our OBPLCM application, playing a critical role in the entire software development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the OBPLCM application.Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, and system testing.Conduct in-depth Oracle database testing, including data validation, integrity checks, and performance testing.Utilize SQL expertise to write complex queries for back-end data validation and analysis.Perform UI and API testing to ensure seamless front-end functionality and proper integration with other systems.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and clarify test scenarios.Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management tool, and work closely with the development team for timely resolution.Apply basic banking formulas and business knowledge to validate financial calculations and logic within the application.Utilize tools such as Notepad++, WinSCP, and SOAP for various testing activities.Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to post-deployment validation.Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders, providing a clear overview of the testing progress and quality metrics.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3-4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database testing and SQL.Mandatory: Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data validation.Solid understanding of basic banking formulas and financial concepts.Proficiency in UI and API testing.Experience with tools such as Notepad++, WinSCP, and SOAP.Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
