- Analyse trade finance system requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for trade finance applications.
- Execute test cases manually and document test results for validation and reporting.
- Identify, log, and track defects in trade finance applications using bug-tracking tools (JIRA).
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to reproduce, analyze, and resolve system issues.
- Conduct retesting to validate defect resolution and ensure stability.
- Test functionalities related to trade finance instruments such as Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees (BGs), Documentary Collections, and Supply Chain Finance.
- Validate compliance with trade finance regulations
- Ensure system integrations with core banking platforms and external trade finance networks work as expected.
- Maintain and update test cases, test scripts, and test execution reports.
- Suggest improvements in testing strategies and trade finance application workflows.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance (QA) best practices and industry standards.
- Work closely with business analysts, trade finance teams, and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and testing priorities.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Provide feedback on system usability, security, and performance.
- Strong understanding of trade finance products and processes.
- Experience with test management tools (Zephyr).
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.
- Familiarity with API testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience working with trade finance platforms
- Knowledge of SWIFT message testing for trade finance transactions.
- Understanding of automation testing concepts is a bonus.

- Experience in Trade Finance and API Testing and Basis SQL.
- Good exposure end to end test management including Understanding requirement, Test case creation, Test execution, Defect management, Status reporting etc.

- Very good in Analytical , Logical thinking on different perspectives

- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and testing methodology/procedures
- Testing experience Trade Finance Application
- Proven working experience in Core Banking Project
- Experience of working in Trade Finance application is must
- Good knowledge of Functional modules worked, especially in Consumer Lending modules – Retail and Corporate
- Good experience in designing and review of test scenarios, test cases, test execution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain bugs and other issues identified and produce bug reports, documentation and feedback to stakeholders
- Ability to highlight and drive issues forward from identification through to resolution
- ISTQB Professional certification will be an added advantage.
- Effectively communicate test progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years of experience with Core Banking Testing.
- Proven experience QA.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices (e.g., functional, regression, integration, performance, UAT).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
