We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join us as the Head of Retail Operations for Maavan Food Store. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Retail Operations. The Head of Retail Operations will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, overseeing store performance, analyzing data to make informed business decisions, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team of retail staff. The role is located in Indore. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and enhance profitability. Lead and motivate the retail team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve performance goals. Oversee inventory management, including procurement, stocking, physical audits and minimising shrinkage. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized store environment. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and product optimization. Collaborate with marketing and promotions teams to execute effective sales and promotional campaigns. Foster strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and quality product delivery. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for store operations and train staff accordingly. Stay updated on industry developments and retail trends to remain competitive in the market. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
