- Design, deploy, and manage GCP resources, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and other related services.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Google Deployment Manager.
- Oversee the configuration and management of virtual private cloud (VPC) networking and shared services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and operational processes.
- Monitor and optimize GCP performance, including resource utilization and cost management.
- Implement robust security practices across GCP resources, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Integrate GCP services with existing systems and applications through APIs and cloud functions.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline workflows and support development processes.
- Prepare and maintain architecture documentation, operational procedures, and best practices guidelines.
- Provide technical support to resolve issues and enhance system performance in the GCP environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture, specifically within Google Cloud Platform.
- Deep understanding of GCP services, including App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Kubernetes Engine.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Golang, or Java.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and security practices in cloud environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration and presenting technical information clearly.
- Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer) are preferred.
- Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, or similar services.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Stackdriver or Prometheus.
- Understanding of DevOps methodologies and practices.
