Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate to join our accounting team. This position will focus on reconciling multiple bank accounts across various entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a global accounting team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly bank account reconciliations across multiple entities.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances, including unidentified transactions, timing differences and posting errors.
  • Make appropriate cash entries for reconciling items and ensure proper documentation.
  • Prepare month end reconciliations to support month end close processes.
  • Coordinate with various internal teams to research discrepancies and bank items to ensure accurate transaction coding.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control requirements and SOX requirements.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance Preferred.
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably with a focus on bank reconciliations.
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliation principles.
  • Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook).
  • Ability to multi-task and complete projects within specific deadlines.
  • Experience completing detailed accounting schedules.
  • Ability to handle and reconcile large amounts of detailed transactions.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to coordinate with international teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate cross time zone collaboration.
