But you’ll collaborate with a diverse group of talented people and gain invaluable management and organizational skills, which will come in handy as you move forward in your career.Key Responsibilities:Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures on Linux systems.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of Linux-based infrastructure.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Linux-based solutions that meet business needs.Implement and maintain security measures to protect Linux systems from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations.Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures to minimize data loss and maintain business continuity.Your future at Kyndryl

And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others.Required Technical and Professional Expertise10+ years of experience as a zLinux Administrator.Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat.Proficient in Linux command-line interface (CLI) and shell scripting.Experience with zVM virtualization Environment and x360s zLinux Architecture.Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and services, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is advantageous.Ability to adapt to new technologies and stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Linux administrationInstall, configure, and maintain network services, including DNS, DHCP, and LDAP.Preferred Technical and Professional ExperienceStrong communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong understanding of server hardware and experience in server management.Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure proper system security and data integrity.Collaborate with software developers and system analysts to troubleshoot and resolve software compatibility issues on Linux platforms.Being YouDiversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
