Project Controller

• Controlling project milestones and budgets by means of Scheduling and Cost Controlling
• Developing and maintaining a professional project schedule and progress tracking.
• Developing and maintaining structured Cost Controlling including outflow planning.
• Develop reliable forecasts and support project manager steering the project.
• Presenting action alternatives and their consequences to the project management.
• Supervising external project controllers.
• Sets up project reporting according to Bayer accounting standards.

• Internal: Reports to Project / Program Manager
• Work relations to Engineering Manager, Construction Manager, Discipline Leads, Procurement, Materials Management, Project Controlling Team, Enterprise Accounting
• External: Contractors (Engineering & Construction)
• Suppliers and manufactures.
• Local and central authorities

• University degree (Master or Bachelor) in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) education with 8-10 years of work experience
• Work experience in investment and/or turnaround projects for the chemical industry or equivalent. Specially in Agrochemical Industry.
• Knowledge of Project Controlling tools.
• Able to coordinate with engineering discipline lead engineers and/or task force groups to ensure on- time completion of work activities and the implementation of project control procedures.
• Hands on experience of reviewing and closely monitoring of project schedule and costs.
• Should be able to provide project oversight, control, and Value Improvement Practices
• Should meet services requirements to support the development and execution of projects.
• Should be able to provide consultation and support services related to project management such as but not limited to cost estimating services, scheduling, best practices solutions, claim analysis, procurement, benchmarking and overseeing and reporting the healthiness of the projects those are in developments and executions stages.
• Experience of Risk Management & Controls through reviewing risk registers & mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication skills; customer focus; ability to deal with ambiguity and conflicts
• Must have knowledge on how to prepare catch-up schedule, industrieal bench marks for preparation of schedule, tracking of engineering schedule and equipment manufacturing schedule.

• Hands on experience of working with Microsoft Projects
• Power BI
• SAP PES module
• Microsoft Office 365 Suite
