You'll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.You'll shape the future of EHS excellence in the cluster by ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our people and contractors, protecting Alstom assets, and reducing risks of business interruptions due to fire or natural catastrophes. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Industrial Operations, Human Resources, Manufacturing, and Finance), guide EHS compliance efforts, and much more.You'll specifically take care of developing and implementing EHS strategies while monitoring and improving EHS performance, but also standardizing processes and fostering an EHS culture across the cluster.We'll look to you for:Developing, strategizing, and implementing long-term EHS plans in alignment with regional strategies.Ensuring accidents/incidents are prevented, reported, investigated, and analyzed effectively.Leading the EHS network across the cluster and supporting EHS staffing and development.Providing EHS support during tendering and project execution phases.Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company EHS standards, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.Building and enhancing EHS competencies and culture through training, communication, and engagement with stakeholders.Regularly auditing and assessing EHS risks and performance across industrial sites.All about youWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we've listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:A university degree in Engineering or Business, with recognized qualifications in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management.Significant experience (15-20 years) in EHS functions within industrial or construction environments.Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, as well as EHS regulations within the cluster region.Experience leading networks of people in a matrix organization and multicultural environment.Familiarity with EHS auditing, risk management, and compliance monitoring.Desirable: Six Sigma certifications, knowledge of LEED certifications, and operational experience outside EHS.Skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, and influencing, with the ability to organize, plan, and develop a global perspective.Things you'll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey - the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
