• Job Description:

• Conduct technical reviews of solutions designed by team members to ensure quality and adherence to standards
• .Team Leadership & Mentorship:Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to a team of Hyperion developers.
• Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of solutions and support activitiesFoster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members as needed.
• Application Management & Strategy (AMS):
• Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support for all Hyperion applications, ensuring high availability and performance.Proactively identify and address potential system bottlenecks, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• Define and enforce operational procedures, monitoring protocols, and disaster recovery plans for Hyperion environments.
• Manage critical incidents and complex problem resolutions, serving as the escalation point for the team.Develop and manage the Hyperion application roadmap, identifying opportunities for upgrades, enhancements, and new module implementations.
• Application Development & Project Management (ADS):
• Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for major Hyperion development projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical design specifications for Hyperion solutions.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of complex business rules, calculation scripts, HFM rules, data integration processes (FDMEE/ODI), and reports.
• Ensure robust testing strategies are in place for all developments and changes.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication:Serve as the primary liaison between the Hyperion development team and various business stakeholders (Finance, Accounting), IT leadership, and external vendors.Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.Collaborate with Oracle EBS and other integrated system teams to ensure seamless data flow and process alignment.
• Documentation & Governance:Establish and maintain high-quality technical documentation standards for all Hyperion components.Ensure compliance with IT governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
• Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of extensive, hands-on experience in the design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle Hyperion EPM applications.
• Expert-level proficiency in at least three to four of the following Hyperion modules, with a strong understanding across the full suite:Hyperion Planning (including complex business rules, calculation scripts, web forms, SmartView integrations).Hyperion Financial Management (HFM, including advanced rules, consolidations, currency translations, intercompany).Essbase (both ASO and BSO cube design, optimization, MDX, and Calc Scripts).
• Financial Data Management (FDM/FDMEE) for complex data integrations.Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of developers or technical resources.
• Strong architectural and design capabilities for large-scale Hyperion implementations.
• Expertise in data integration methodologies and tools (e.g., FDMEE, ODI, or custom solutions) for Hyperion with source systems like Oracle EBS.In-depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting processes.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written).Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment.Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management best practices.
• Preferred Qualifications:Extensive experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) integration with Hyperion for both master data and actuals.Experience migrating or deploying Hyperion on cloud platforms (e.g., EPBCS, FCCS).Strong SQL skills and ability to interact with relational databases.Relevant Oracle Hyperion certifications (e.g., OPN Certified Specialist).Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
