Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in electric power markets, including renewable energy and traditional power sectors.- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including energy producers, utilities, and trading partners.- Conduct market research to analyze trends, pricing, and regulatory frameworks in power trading.- Collaborate with technical teams to design trading strategies and risk management frameworks.- Negotiate and close contracts for power purchase agreements (PPAs) and energy derivatives.- Meet and exceed sales targets while ensuring compliance with industry standards.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA or Master's preferred).- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or trading within the energy sector.- Strong understanding of electric power markets, trading platforms, and regulatory environments.- Proven track record in closing B2B deals and building long-term client relationships.- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
