- Methodology Development Lead for standard cell and GPIO design
- Front-end modeling: methodologies and flows for front end design view generation and verification. Front-end design views include Verilog views enabling efficient RTL and RTL2GDS design flows, test views, power intent.
- Design Assurance methodologies including electrical and physical design assurance steps
- IP back-end models and model verification including view generation and view verification for electrical and physical views.
- EDA IP development flows – working with EDA vendors and internal IP design teams to specify, scope and develop IP design assurance, view generation and view verification flows, including integration verification on digital design level.
- EDA package specification lead – working with EDA vendors and internal IP teams to lead the definition of view types, content, and related EDA tool features. Work with IP program management and marketing teams to scope IP contracts with respect to views and operating conditions to ensure successful IP adoption in the market.
- Work with cross-geo, cross-functional teams to understand requirements and communicate resolution in a timely manner.
- Mentor and train junior engineers towards building effective software and automation features
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
- Expertise in methodology design assurance, modelling, and model verification of IP design blocks with focus on logic and IO IP
- Expert knowledge of industry standard EDA tools and flows to support foundational IP designs with focus on view generation and verification
- Expert knowledge of digital design EDA tools and flows to drive integration level requirements for IP design.
- Requires a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or equivalent degree in a related field from an accredited university.
- B.E./B.Tech + minimum of 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Must have proficient knowledge of and experience with Unix environment.
- Must have good technical verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with cross functional teams is necessary.
- Be able to collaborate with program and technical design leads on multiple concurrent projects.
- Should have excellent problem-solving skills, written & oral communication, teaming & interpersonal skills.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
- Familiarity with standard engineering practices like Version Control systems, Configuration Management and Regression process
