STORE &. PURCHASE OFFICER FOR FABRICATION PLANT - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

• Procurement & Sourcing: Procure raw materials (steel, structural components), bought-out items, and consumables based on production requirements.
• Vendor Management: Develop new suppliers, negotiate pricing, and maintain relationships with existing vendors.
• Order Processing: Raise, process, and track purchase orders (POs) within an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
• Expediting: Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to prevent production shutdowns.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of raw materials and consumables, flagging shortages and reducing excess/obsolete stock.
• Documentation & Compliance: Verify invoices against Purchase Orders (POs) and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and maintain compliance with ISO standards and internal audit requirements.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare MIS reports on procurement, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production preferred) or Supply Chain/Logistics.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in heavy engineering, steel fabrication, or manufacturing.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of fabrication materials (steel grades, thicknesses), reading technical drawings, and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Excel.
• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

• Inventory accuracy.
