Social Media Manager - Software CompanyPosition SummaryWe're hiring a proactive Social Media Manager to build our brand awareness, grow online communities, and drive user acquisition through strategic social media and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SMM (Social Media Marketing) initiatives. You'll blend creative content, analytics, and technical know-how to support our marketing goals in the B2B SaaS space.Key Responsibilities :Strategy & Planning :- Develop and execute a comprehensive SMM strategy across platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit).- Integrate SEO best practices into social posts and content to maximize search visibility and organic reach.Content Creation & Management :- Create and curate engaging content: graphics, videos, blog promotions, case studies, infographics, and short-form social reels.- Coordinate with product, design, and engineering teams to turn features, customer stories, and technical insights into compelling content.Community Engagement :- Manage daily community interactions: comments, messages, mentions, and forum threads.- Build relationships with industry influencers and brand advocates to amplify reach and generate user-generated content. SEO Optimization :- Research and integrate relevant keywords and hashtags into social content.- Collaborate with the SEO/content teams to ensure cohesion between social messaging and website/blog SEO campaigns.Paid Campaigns & Growth :- Plan and run paid social media campaigns to generate leads and build brand presence.- A/B test creatives, ad copy, audience segments, and landing pages to optimize for conversion and ROI.Analytics & Reporting :- Monitor and report on key metrics: reach, engagement, follower growth, click-through rates, conversion rates, keyword rankings, and ROI.- Use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Sprout Social/Hootsuite, or Buffer to glean insights and refine strategy.Collaboration & Optimization :- Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, and support to align social strategy with business goals.- Stay current with trends in social algorithms, SEO updates, SaaS industry, and digital marketing best practices.QualificationsRequired:- 3+ years of social media marketing experience (B2B preferred), ideally in tech or SaaS.- Proven track record using SMM tools (Hootsuite, Sprout, Buffer) and SEO platforms (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush).- Strong content creation skills: writing, basic graphic/video editing (Canva, Premiere Rush, iMovie)- Excellent communicator, with sharp copywriting, storytelling, and community management skills.- Data-driven mindset; experience analyzing performance metrics and optimizing campaigns.- Familiarity with paid social formats and ad platforms (LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, X Ads).Preferred:- Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.- Experience in B2B SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environment.- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or CMS platforms (WordPress, HubSpot, Drupal).- Background in influencer outreach, referral programs, or affiliate campaigns.Nice-to-Have Skills- Basic video production/editing (e.g., social shorts, product demos).- Experience with A/B testing tools (Optimizely, VWO) for landing pages or social creatives.Familiar with SEO tactics: on-page optimization, backlinking strategies, schema markup.What You'll Gain- Leadership in shaping our brand's digital presence and community.- Opportunity to scale innovative marketing campaigns for an agile, high-growth software startup.- Access to career development, conferences, and training in SMM content and SEO.
